Dealership F&I Specialist – Customer Service Specialist.

Happy Trailers is a large regional Trailer Dealership with 14 locations, which is growing fast. We are seeking a motivated, energetic, compassionate, experienced, and organized associate with sales skills to join the Happy Trailers team. In this role, the Finance and Insurance Specialist will be responsible for selling the dealership customer financing options, warranty programs, and other aftermarket products. The F&I Sales specialist, utilizing a positive attitude, will be responsible for helping customers purchase the products offered.

The associate will process vehicle financing applications and help customers get approved. The Associate will verify that all applications and approvals are complete and accurate. They will maintain strong relationships with the lending institutions and share the finance options with customers. A competent Dealership Finance and Insurance Specialist main responsibility is ensuring customers obtain financing for their trailer needs and that it’s properly protected. Some specific duties include:

• Working directly with customers to explain and recommend financing options, extended warranties, and aftermarket products.
• Finding competitive rates to encourage customers to purchase vehicles
• Processing applications for vehicle financing and helping customers get approved.
• Verifying that all paperwork is completed correctly and filed properly.
• Maintaining strong relationships with lending institutions that provide competitive rates.
• Ensuring compliance by following all local, state and federal regulations

A successful Finance and Insurance candidate will have various prerequisite skills and qualifications needed for the duties, including:

• Strong sales and closing skills to boost sales for the dealership.
• Advanced negotiation skills to help customers find the proper finance product.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to help customers find a good deal that fits their financial situation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex programs to buyers.
• Knowledge of financial compliance requirements
• Dealership industry experience and knowledge
• Ability to upsell warranty and other aftermarket products to existing customers.
• Navigate quickly and accurately in multiple web-based programs while working with a customer on the phone.
• Assist customers with completing credit applications, discuss terms of credit approvals with customers.
• Ability to accurately explain vehicle tag and title options to a customer.

• High level of confidence, energy, and professionalism while communication via phone, text, teams, or email
• Selling experience
• Ability to learn and execute phone scripts confidently and fluidly.
• A strong team player with the ability to work independently.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Proficient in the latest technology, computers, CRM, cell phone, websites, and Email
• Excellent task management and prioritizing skills.

• Pay: $40,000.00 -$60,000.00 + incentives
• Performance incentives
• Consistent schedule – Monday – Friday – 8 am to 6 pm & Saturdays – 8 am to 1 pm
