* ** About the Role
** The Consumer Lead Specialist is a field-based player-coach within the Consumer Direct Sales Organization. This role supports a defined group of new hire Direct Sales Specialists by providing coaching, field guidance, and day-to-day support while continuing to meet individual sales  this role, you will model strong sales behaviors, help new hires build confidence in the field, and serve as a point of contact when the assigned manager is unavailable.

* What You Will Do:

*** Meet or exceed individual sales goals, activity expectations, and productivity targets.
* Conduct field-based sales activities, including prospecting, customer engagement, product education, and closing new business.
* Mentor and coach assigned new hire Direct Sales Specialists through ride-alongs, shadowing, observation, and real-time feedback.
* Reinforce approved sales processes, compliance expectations, territory management practices, and customer experience standards.
* Serve as a point of contact when the assigned manager is unavailable and escalate trends, barriers, or support needs as appropriate.
** Do You Have?
*** High school diploma or equivalent.
* Proven success in direct sales, field sales, door-to-door sales, telecommunications sales, retail sales, or another performance-based sales environment.
* Ability to consistently meet or exceed sales goals while supporting others in the field.
* Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
* Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel within assigned territories.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings or weekends as business needs require.
** Even Better:
*** Experience selling fiber internet, broadband, wireless, cable, home services, or other telecommunications products.
* Prior experience as a sales lead, field trainer, mentor, team captain, or peer coach.
* Knowledge of consumer sales processes, territory management, CRM/sales tools, and customer relationship-building techniques.
** Work Environment:
** This is a field-based role that requires regular travel within assigned territories, including ride-alongs with new hire employees and in-person customer engagement in residential communities. The Consumer Lead Specialist should be comfortable working outdoors, walking neighborhoods, and supporting agents in real-time selling environments.
