We are seeking two geology interns to join our rare earth exploration program based in Sierra Blanca, Texas, to assist with projects at Round Top.
Undergraduate Geology Intern: an undergraduate geology student wanting hands‑on experience in mineral exploration, core logging, sample collection, and standard field work.
Graduate Geology Intern: a graduate geology student with stronger foundation in mineralogy or economic geology, taking an active role in core logging, data interpretation, and other standard exploration tasks.
PreferredSkills & Qualifications (Both Levels)
- Enrollment in an accredited geology or geoscience program (Entering Junior Year or higher)
- Basic understanding of geological mapping and logging principles
- Eagerness to learn field‑based exploration methods
- Ability to work in a remote field environment
- Interest in the mining industry
The job involves office, manufacturing, and construction site environments. Typical tasks may require walking, standing, moving, carrying up to 20 lb, raising arms, and other manual activities. Reasonable accommodations can be made.
