Security Officer Patrol Driving Role in Wadsworth, TX. You will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries such as utilities. In this driving post you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. A valid driver’s license is required and armed certification is required where applicable.

Daytime Mon 06:00 AM – 04:00 PM Tue 06:00 AM – 04:00 PM Wed 06:00 AM – 04:00 PM Thu 06:00 AM – 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate for a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorization as required, and report policy violations, maintenance issues, and suspicious activity.
• Support security‑related operations at a highly regulated location by following post orders, observing restricted areas, and assisting with incident response and escalation procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
