As a Security Officer Access Monitoring Driver in Mont Belvieu, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, support site protocols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication.

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and help control entry and exit activity by verifying credentials, screening visitors, maintaining visitor logs, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Support security-related operations at a chemical and petrochemical location by observing vehicle traffic, checking deliveries, and documenting unusual activity or policy violations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, gates, and perimeter areas as assigned, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
