Description
Lockheed Martin’s Rotary & Mission Systems (LM RMS) Program Security and Compliance invites you to step up to one of today’s most daunting challenges: the protection of exquisite government capabilities leading to warfighter supremacy against our peer and near‑peer adversaries. As a Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) at Lockheed Martin, you’ll safeguard the sensitive information and war fighting capabilities that our citizens and the world depend upon to protect U.S. and ally interests.
You’ll work alongside other program security experts, government civilians and military members to support their military operational objectives by providing them with a safe and secure operating environment.
This position is located in Liverpool, NY.
Responsibilities- Administer the SAP/SCI Nomination Process by processing, logging, and preparing incoming and outgoing SAP & SCI Nomination packages.
- Conduct annual SETA requirements in conjunction with the program; provide security indoctrination, debriefings, pre/post travel briefings and annual refresher briefings as necessary.
- Classified document & media control, including maintenance of logs tracking documents in transition.
- Investigate security violations and submit required reports to the government.
- Perform administrative security functions such as organizing and filing all administrative program security paperwork.
- Maintain all end‑of‑day logs, safe checks, visitor logs, and pass‑down logs.
- Assist the government with physical security and provide security escorting for uncleared personnel as required.
- Process and track incoming and outgoing Visit Authorization Requests.
- Conduct self‑inspections; manage preparations for and representation of security inspections and audits by government security personnel.
- Assist the Lead CSSO and team with additional security support as required by the RMS Advanced Programs Manager and the local Customer.
- Current Top Secret security clearance with an investigation within 5 years from the investigation closed date and confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
- Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) when mission requirements dictate.
- Familiarity with working in classified environments and/or classified materials.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- U.S. citizenship; many programs and projects are ITAR restricted.
Position requires a government security clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Top Secret clearance with investigation or CV date within 5 years.
Pay RateAnnual base salary ranges: $57,400 – $101,200 for non‑major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, New York, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC; $66,000 – $114,425 for major metropolitan areas in those states.
