As a Security Officer Armed Driver Security Clearance in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries such as government. In this part‑time role you will monitor and patrol designated areas, stay visible to deter incidents, and provide strong customer service and communication.

Wednesday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Thursday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while maintaining readiness for an armed post assignment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity, reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, patrol activity, and/or observations, and assist public employees and visitors with directions or general support as needed.

• A minimum of 2 years of security‑related experience is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security‑related experience or a college degree is required.
• An active DoD Confidential Clearance is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security‑related supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security‑related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
