Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in San Antonio

Flex Security Officer – Part Time – San Antonio, Texas – Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Texas, Inc.

$17.50 per hour. Sign‑on bonus: $50 for applicants with an active Guard Card.

Schedule:

FLEX hours – fully flexible; must be able to work any hours including weekends and holidays, and respond to assignments with little notice.

• Rover: Vehicle/foot patrols; deter theft, vandalism, and suspicious activity.
• Gatehouse: Access control; greet and /guests, log vehicles, announce visitors.
• Front Desk: Customer service, access control, CCTV monitoring, package distribution, visitor announcements.

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests promptly and courteously.
• Manage guest/visitor access and eject trespassers or violators as necessary.
• Verify credentials of incoming/outgoing individuals and vehicles.
• Document and maintain visitor logs and notify residents of arrivals.
• Assist in protecting people and equipment by enforcing policies and procedures.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks.
• Warn violators of infractions such as loitering, smoking, or prohibited items.
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms, or emergencies such as fire, injuries, or unauthorized persons by contacting local first responders.
• Identify and report any concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) promptly.
• Ensure accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents).
• Enforce all rules/regulations.
• Other duties as directed by management.

• Minimum age 18 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state licensing.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• At least one year of customer service experience.
• At least one year of security experience.
• Must be able to pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug).
• Physical requirements:
  
  crawling, crouching, climbing stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping, and walking for extended periods of time.
