As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driving Role in Midland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unusual conditions, and report observations, incidents, and related details according to Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Assist with access control, crowd management, and/or de-escalation during busy periods, special events, deliveries, or other high-traffic activities common to a retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Must have 3+ years' combined law enforcement/corrections/military experience or 5+ years armed security experience.
• Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
