As a Security Officer Unarmed Full Time - FM 1942 in Mont Belvieu, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a professional environment. A valid driver’s license in the job state is required.

• Wed: 04:00 PM - 04:00 AM
• Thur: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the chemical and petrochemical location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor records, and directing authorized individuals to designated areas.
• Operate access-control systems, gates, badge readers, cameras, and communication equipment; report equipment concerns and access irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, gates, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A security‑related guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
