Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor

Position Type: Full‑Time

FLSA Status: Hourly Non‑Exempt

This position requires a strong aptitude and hands‑on approach in electrical design, implementation, calculation, and theory. This individual should also have a good to strong experience in PLC troubleshooting. This individual must be strong in electrical circuitry configuration with the ability to troubleshoot simple to complex circuitry and provide solutions to any issues that arise in this area of expertise.

• Complete and assign work orders as assigned; complete job tickets including start time, work order numbers, account numbers, and equipment numbers; give description of work performed on work order; request parts from storeroom and give clerk appropriate work order number; replace or repair parts as needed to keep equipment safe and operating.
• Must perform all assigned tasks and demonstrate proficiency in electrical design, implementation, calculation and theory. This individual should also demonstrate a good to strong experience in PLC operation and troubleshooting and be able to diagnose electrical and PLC related issues and provide valid solutions. The understanding of ladder logic is desired for this position.
• This individual must be able to troubleshoot, specify and install VFD’s as needed.
• Must be able to create schematics and bills of material for new project installations.
• Must be able to make conduit and circuit runs as needed to support new equipment installations.
• Must perform all work with minimum or no supervision.
• Communicate and demonstrate ability to outline problem area and potential solutions.
• Must be able to read and interpret schematics.
