The Industrial Electrician performs skilled, journey-level work with a strong safety mindset, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining electromechanical equipment and instrumentation.
Responsibilities- Install new electrical and electronic equipment and wiring per NEC and Atlas Sand standards
- Inspect, maintain, repair, and overhaul electromechanical and solid-state electrical equipment
- Perform high-voltage switching and operate generators in support of operations
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with codes and regulations
- Lead work crews during maintenance and repair activities
- Execute lockout/tagout procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- Critical Skills/Technologies:
- Mid- and high-voltage electrical experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of recent industrial electrician experience
- Strong troubleshooting of electrical and electromechanical equipment
- Mining or heavy industrial experience
- Team-oriented, approachable, and collaborative
- Takes pride in quality, accuracy, and craftsmanship
- Knowledge of methods, equipment, and materials used in the electrical trade
- Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Familiarity with applicable laws, codes, policies, and procedures
- Knowledge of electronic theory and PLC-based equipment
- Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and schematics
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of five (5) years of recent industrial electrician experience
- Journeyman certification preferred
- OR completion of a recognized vocational education program in electrical/industrial electrical/industrial training
- OR completion of an Electrical Apprenticeship Program
- PLC experience (install, program, troubleshoot)
- No PTO or bonus for this role

- 10–12-hour shifts
- Approximately 17 weeks off per year

- Housing provided at man camp - don’t provide relo since they provide housing.
- Regular use of hands, arms, vision, and hearing
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance
- Lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 100+ lbs occasionally
- Capable of working a rotating 14 on / 7 off schedule (days and nights)
- Must tolerate outdoor conditions with no air conditioning or heat
