$37.00 - $45.00 / Hourly depending on experience + OT

The Industrial Electrician performs skilled, journey-level work with a strong safety mindset, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining electromechanical equipment and instrumentation.

• Install new electrical and electronic equipment and wiring per NEC and Atlas Sand standards
• Inspect, maintain, repair, and overhaul electromechanical and solid-state electrical equipment
• Perform high-voltage switching and operate generators in support of operations
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with codes and regulations
• Lead work crews during maintenance and repair activities
• Execute lockout/tagout procedures
• Other duties as assigned

• Critical Skills/Technologies:
• Mid- and high-voltage electrical experience
• Minimum of five (5) years of recent industrial electrician experience
• Strong troubleshooting of electrical and electromechanical equipment
• Mining or heavy industrial experience

• Team-oriented, approachable, and collaborative
• Takes pride in quality, accuracy, and craftsmanship

• Knowledge of methods, equipment, and materials used in the electrical trade
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Familiarity with applicable laws, codes, policies, and procedures
• Knowledge of electronic theory and PLC-based equipment
• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and schematics
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of five (5) years of recent industrial electrician experience

• Journeyman certification preferred
• OR completion of a recognized vocational education program in electrical/industrial electrical/industrial training
• OR completion of an Electrical Apprenticeship Program

• PLC experience (install, program, troubleshoot)

• Regular use of hands, arms, vision, and hearing

• Lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 100+ lbs occasionally
• Capable of working a rotating 14 on / 7 off schedule (days and nights)
• Must tolerate outdoor conditions with no air conditioning or heat
