Essential duties:
Assisting Irrigation Technicians with repairs and installation of commercial irrigation systems. Entry level into the field of irrigation. The main focus will be to learn irrigation systems.

• Always abide by company code of conduct and safety standards
• Trench, backfill and excavate soil for irrigation repairs or installations
• Maintain organized, stocked and clean irrigation truck and tools
• Maintain job site safe, clean, and organized condition
• Understand and follow standard irrigation procedures safely
• Understand irrigation components and terminology
• Understand, replace and adjust spray heads and rotors properly
• Operate irrigation valves, replacement and adjustments
• Understand complete irrigation forms for material usage and work requests
• Inspect equipment to ensure good working order and charged prior to arriving at job site or leaving the yard
• Other duties as assigned

• At least two years’ commercial landscape experience

• License or Certification as required by state and federal law
• Valid driver license issued by the state where employed
• Backflow Assembly Tester (BAT) License in state where employed preferred

• Strong sense of customer service and urgency
• Effective oral and written communication
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to work autonomously
• Organizational skills
• Flexibility
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram and/or schedule format

• Constantly required to talk, hear, see, sit, stand and walk
• Frequently required to drive between job sites
• Vision requirements: close, distant, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment
• Frequent use of hands to manipulate tools
• Frequently required to reach, bend, twist, stoop, crouch, climb and balance
• Occasionally lift up to 25, 50 or 75 pounds

• Occasional exposure to mechanical objects, weather, fumes or airborne particles
• Occasionally exposed to loud noise and low voltage electrical work

Salary information is provided in compliance with state laws and may vary by location and division. Pay range: $18.00 - $19.00. Texscape Services is an EEO and E-Verify participating employer. On-Demand Daily Pay is available where eligible.
