The person in this role will service and repair NLB rental equipment in the shop and in the field.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on all components of rental equipment and accessories.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, mechanical and electrical schematics, and other specifications to determine repair methods for failed components.
• Replace or repair defective components using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment using hand or power tools.
• Rebuild, install, and align pump assemblies utilizing safe rigging methods.
• Create, track and formalize work order documents in a timely manner.
• Be flexible with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Promote positive customer service for the NLB Louisiana location as per company expectations.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Basic understanding of hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Must own required tool inventory; specifics discussed during interview.
• Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and a safety‑first mentality.

Monday – Friday 7am – 5pm; may require working outside standard hours.

Requires standing, use of hands, lifting up to 75 lbs, reaching, climbing, and operating equipment. Work may involve weather extremes and moderate to loud noise. Safety gear and PPE compliance required.
