Growing transportation company seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to support and maintain a fleet of over sixty trucks operating throughout the Midwest. The role is critical to ensuring fleet reliability, safety, and uptime.

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel trucks and trailers, including preventive maintenance services, oil changes, and DOT inspections.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on tractors and trailers.
• Troubleshoot engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and fuel systems.
• Complete preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and inspection documentation.
• Ensure all equipment meets DOT compliance and safety standards.
• Work closely with operations to prioritize repairs and keep trucks on the road.
• Monitor parts inventory and communicate needs for ordering and restocking.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and regulations.
