Lead Maintenance Technician

Lead Maintenance Technician - Full Time – Colorado, Parker

We are seeking a seasoned Maintenance Technician ready to lead and innovate within our communities. In this role you will manage the safety, comfort, and functionality of our properties, ensuring residents experience a high standard of living.

• Diagnose and repair problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other maintenance systems.
• Create, track, and complete work orders and general maintenance tasks promptly.
• Prepare vacant units and garages for rental by performing turnkey work such as cleaning, carpet cleaning, appliance repair, caulking, and painting.
• Train, mentor, and oversee Maintenance Technicians I and II.
• Conduct apartment preventive maintenance (PM) and perform hot work when applicable (brazing, soldering, welding).
• Inspect community grounds and buildings daily to identify maintenance needs.
• Maintain a culture of incident and injury freedom by following all safety policies and procedures.

• 3+ years of maintenance experience, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repair work.
• Valid driver’s license.
• HVAC certifications (CFC) or willingness and desire to learn.
• Availability for an on‑call rotation schedule with the team.
• Strong customer service communication skills with residents and associates.
• Ability to read and understand company policies and procedures (Key Control Policy, Apartment Turnover Policy, Emergency policies).
• Knowledge of cleaning, chemical supplies, Hazard Communication Safety Data Sheets, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Basic understanding of emergency systems, shutoffs, locations, and operation sequences.
• Knowledge of paint types and paint tools.
