We’re looking for candidates based in or willing to relocate to Midland, Odessa, Mentone, or Garden City, Texas.

Preferred experience includes mechanics working on equipment such as compressors, internal combustion engines, diesel, natural gas‑powered motors, pumps, valves, and turbines. Performs activities related to mechanical work on equipment at compressor, pipeline, storage, gathering, fractionation, and/or gas processing facilities.

• Perform mechanical work on fixed and rotating equipment at various locations including, but not limited to:
  • Internal combustion, diesel, natural gas powered engines and electrical drivers
  • Compressors, pumps, generators, turbines, valves, electrical equipment, and well equipment
• Service, troubleshoot, maintain, install and repair structural, mechanical, electrical and/or well equipment. Conduct performance analyses, including emissions testing.
• Order and/or secure parts and supplies.
• Maintain, prepare and/or interpret reports and records, including, but not limited to:
  • Work logs and service orders
  • Inspection reports
  • Engine/equipment maintenance and repair records
  • Pressure readings
  • Material and supply orders
  • Engine and compressor oil analysis reports
• Drive and ensure maintenance is complete on company vehicles.

The job requires alertness and immediate response to dangerous or hazardous conditions, where impaired performance or failure to follow safety precautions could lead to serious injury or property damage.

• Experience in the use and function of hand and power tools and equipment applicable to the position.
• Experience servicing, maintaining and repairing equipment.
• Experience relative to company and/or governmental operating/safety policies and procedures.

• Knowledge of ordering and/or securing parts and supplies.
• Knowledge of reading and interpreting work and repair orders, drawings, charts, diagrams, dials, gauges, warranties, quotations, procedures and equipment manuals.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and use decimals and percentages.
• Ability to communicate and exchange information and instructions.
• Ability to react immediately to emergency situations to prevent injury to self and others.
• Ability to work in confined areas.
• Ability to perform precise tuning and timing work.
• Ability to utilize fine motor skills for making minute adjustments.
