Trailer Technician Mobile

This role offers a unique opportunity to work independently in a fast-paced environment, performing essential trailer preventative maintenance, repairs with a focus on trailer health and safety. You ll be the go-to expert ensuring our fleet remains operational and reliable, all while enjoying a dynamic, mobile work setting.

• Minimum 3 years of trailer mechanic experience
• Proficiency with trailer PMs, roll-up doors, tire work, air leaks, lighting, and welding
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Strong repair skills exclusively on trailers (e.g., brakes, tires, patching holes, door repairs)
• Basic set of tools; mobile truck equipment provided
• Excellent self-motivation and time management skills
• Good communication skills, primarily via email/tablet with operational teams

• Experience with trailer roll-up doors and trailer patching
• Welding proficiency
• Previous work on trailer wheel seals, brakes, and tire repairs
• Familiarity with trailer safety standards and repair best practices

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 3+ years of trailer repair or diesel technician experience

• Must be able to handle basic troubleshooting and repairs on trailers in a mobile setting
• Ability to work scheduled shifts: 4 days, 10 hours (Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday) 6am-3pm
• Valid driver s license and the ability to manage work at multiple facilities as needed
