Overview
We are seeking Entry-Level Cable Technicians (Level
1) to support a large-scale data center project for a leading, undisclosed technology client. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in structured cabling and grow within the low-voltage industry.
Key Responsibilities
+ Install, pull, and dress copper and fiber optic cabling (Cat5/Cat6)
+ Label cables and manage materials for installation
+ Assist higher-level technicians with daily tasks
+ Set up and maintain cable pathways (tray, wireway, buss duct)
+ Build and organize telecom closets (racks, patch panels, cross-connects)
+ Perform terminations (110/66 blocks, patch panels)
+ Operate hand and power tools safely
+ Climb ladders and work in elevated or confined spaces
+ Support grounding and installation of equipment as required
Required Qualifications
+ Minimum 6 months of cabling experience OR completion of a low-voltage trade school program
+ Basic knowledge of copper/fiber cabling and installation practices
+ Ability to use hand and power tools
+ Reliable transportation
+ Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification during onboarding
+ High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Experience
+ Previous experience in construction or low-voltage environments
+ Familiarity with structured cabling standards and practices
Work Environment
+ Data center / construction setting (client name confidential)
+
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
+ Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 40 lbs)
+ Ladder climbing (up to 20 feet)
+ May operate equipment such as lifts or telehandlers
+ Moderate noise levels and physically active role

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
