Plumbing Apprentice

Looking to start a rewarding career in the skilled trades? Wilson McLain Plumbing is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Plumbing Apprentices. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn the plumbing trade while working alongside experienced, licensed plumbers in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.

What You'll Do:

• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems
• Carry tools and materials to and from job sites
• Cut, assemble, and install piping under supervision
• Help test plumbing systems and identify leaks
• Prepare and clean job sites
• Learn plumbing codes, blueprints, and industry best practices
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 75 pounds
• Basic math and mechanical skills
• Reliable attendance and professionalism
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation preferred
• Interest in pursuing a career as a licensed plumber

This position involves working indoors and outdoors and may require working in various weather conditions, confined spaces, or elevated areas. Occasional overtime may be required.
