Brief DescriptionThe purpose of this position is to perform in a lead capacity doing concrete work and assisting the welders and abrasive blasters as part of a team in completing work duties and performing construction, repairs, and general maintenance on the Brazos River Authority (BRA) dams. This is accomplished by overseeing less experienced employees; pouring and finishing concrete; operating concrete saws and jackhammers to remove deteriorated concrete;
building and setting concrete forms; bending, cutting, and installing reinforcing bars. Other responsibilities include operating heavy equipment; assisting the welders and abrasive blasters; assisting with scaffold erection; assisting with training and mentoring less experienced RSMU staff and any other duties as assigned.
- A minimum of five years of concrete experience and some flatwork experience is required.
- High School Plus Vocational Training - Obtained with advanced study or training past high school.

$28.46 to $36.29 per hour. This is a non-exempt position.
