OverviewWe're hiring experienced Lead Fiber Technicians to support a large-scale data center build‑out in Burlington, TX. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the field, enjoys leading teams, and has strong hands‑on experience with fiber optic installation and cable management. You'll play a key role in building and maintaining critical fiber infrastructure that supports high‑performance data environments.
Key Responsibilities- Install, test, and repair fiber optic cables and splice enclosures.
- Troubleshoot signal issues and ensure optimal network performance.
- Conduct routine inspections and audits of fiber routes.
- Lead field teams and oversee daily work execution.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors on installations.
- Support project timelines and ensure quality standards are met.
- Assist with installing new fiber lines, conduits, and aerial systems.
- Support infrastructure expansion for new data center builds.
- Conduct site surveys and assess installation feasibility.
- Maintain accurate records of work orders, network updates, and testing results.
- Follow strict safety protocols (heights, confined spaces, electrical).
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Experience with fiber optic installation and cable management.
- Proven team leadership or foreman experience in a technical field environment.
- Strong understanding of fiber infrastructure and OSP work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Data center experience.
- Experience coordinating large‑scale fiber deployment projects.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
