Description Technician I – Foundation TechnicianThe Foundation Technician is responsible for installing, servicing, and performing preventative maintenance on beverage systems, ice machines, and food equipment.

Your First 12 Weeks: A Paid Investment in Your SuccessEvery technician begins in our Foundation Phase. This is a structured 12‑week development program where you are:
- Paid to train
- Exposed to every major job type we perform
- Taught in both classroom and field settings
- Certified through our internal technical curriculum
- Trained to operate under the Barranco Standard
Performance Drives Pay
We operate on a defined advancement ladder:
Technician I → Technician II → Technician III. Advancement is directly tied to skill validation, safety performance, technical competency, and field readiness. Most entrants become Tech III Certified in less than 14 months. Pay increases with progression.

This is a travel‑based role. You will be on the road for extended rotations. We are transparent about that upfront because we value professionalism both sides.

For Experienced TechniciansIf you’ve worked in refrigeration, HVAC, beverage systems, or commercial food equipment, you will not be treated like a rookie. But you will be expected to meet our standard.

Requirements Basic Qualifications- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening (where permitted by law)
- Ability to travel for extended multi‑week rotations
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Comfortable working on ladders and around commercial equipment
- Ability to work in active retail and restaurant environments
- Willingness to travel consistently as part of structured deployment schedules
- Ability to work flexible hours based on project demands
- Commitment to completing OSHA 10 within first 30 days
- Willingness to complete the 12‑week Foundation Phase in full
- Experience in refrigeration, HVAC, beverage systems, or food equipment
- Mechanical aptitude or prior trade exposure
- Basic electrical knowledge
- EPA Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous travel‑based field service experience
