Pay Grade & Range: $19.00 - $39.26 per hour (starting pay based on skills and experience). Status:
Full time, hourly.
Hours:
6:00 am – 3:00 pm Monday – Friday; overtime as needed.

This position is responsible for performing duties related to all of Coldspring's assets, including electrical infrastructure and machinery at local and outlying facilities and quarries. Responsibilities include design of small control panels for pumps, fans, motor start/stop circuits, timers, etc.; keeping accurate records of repairs and modifications; promoting a safe working environment.
Responsibilities- Test and troubleshoot all Coldspring assets.
- Design and build control panels, including pumps, fans, motor start/stop circuits, timers, etc.
- Design and draw schematics for new machinery as per company standards.
- Perform routine electrical maintenance on all company assets.
- Troubleshoot VFDs, replace with new versions/models if needed.
- Repair complex machinery including PLC control systems, CNC control systems, and 5-axis machinery.
- Operate control sensors such as encoders, transducers, tachometers, 4-20 mA signals, 0-10 VDC signals, digital signals, etc.
- Disassemble, move, and reassemble machinery to various locations.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and cranes according to work orders.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 2-5 years of job-related experience.
- Proficient electrical aptitude and ability.
- Valid driver's license.
- Self-motivated with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, manual dexterity, and communication skills.
- Great pride in neat and orderly work.
- Ability to design and build an electrical control system that operates safely and efficiently.
