Position: Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic)
Location: Hubbard

Build the Future with Us — Equipment Share is hiring a Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic) at our facility in Hubbard, TX. The role involves maintenance and repair of company‑owned heavy equipment and aerial lifts, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer service.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime pay after 40 hours. This role may require on‑call scheduling and additional compensation.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Create, assign, and monitor work orders using the T3 platform.
  • Track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues quickly by pulling data from a wide range of makes and models.
  • Practice safe job practices while repairing equipment.
  • Use laptops and tablets comfortably.
  • Maintain and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment.
  • Assist in training lower‑level technicians as needed.
  • Maintain complete and timely paperwork and electronic documentation of work performed.
  • Assist with pick‑up and delivery of equipment and parts.
  • Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred).
  • Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer‑owned equipment; maintain a clean and professional service vehicle.
  • Participate in year‑round OEM training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • Advanced mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction equipment, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • High School diploma; trade school certificate preferred.
  • Field service, maintenance and repair experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 to operate the company vehicle.
Physical Requirements
  • Move, stand, stoop, and bend freely.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds at times.
