YARD HAND

Location: Freer

POSITION SUMMARY The Yard Hand is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of our trucking and/or disposal yard.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Assisting with the loading and unloading of equipment and materials

Maintaining a clean and organized yard Performing basic maintenance on equipment

Assisting with the preparation of equipment for transport

Assisting with the assembly and disassembly of equipment

Operating forklifts and other equipment as needed

Assisting with inventory management

Following all safety protocols and procedures MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in a similar role preferred

Ability to lift heavy objects and work in all weather conditions

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
