Location: Tilden

Duration: 1 year initially with possibility of extension / becoming permanent

Location: Tilden, TX

Rotation: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day (on call - nights and weekends)

Role Context

This position is based at a field site in Tilden, Texas, within the oil and gas industry. The role supports ongoing maintenance activity across site operations, including planned and reactive work, with reporting lines into site supervision. The working environment includes weekday site support as well as on-call coverage for nights and weekends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support field electrical maintenance activities for lighting, air conditioning, and motor maintenance.
  • Carry out electrical isolation work in line with Lock Out Tag Out requirements.
  • Plan and execute scheduled preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance activities.
  • Help minimise production impact while maximising operational availability.
  • Work with vendors and subcontractors as required to support maintenance delivery.
  • Comply with modification control requirements for plant modifications.
  • Promote strong safety, security, health, and environmental standards in day-to-day activities.
  • Use observation-based safety reporting to identify and report safe and unsafe acts.
  • Participate in responsible waste management practices on site.
  • Attend and contribute to operations morning shift meetings.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous experience as I&E Technician or Electrical Maintenance Technician (or with PLC and equipment related to the role).
  • Ability to clearly and concisely describe field conditions and recommend remediation steps.
  • Effective teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Previous experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Discipline-appropriate certification(s), where applicable, or equivalent professional experience.
