Key Responsibilities- Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Install, inspect, and test plumbing systems, including water, gas, drainage, and vent piping.
- Set fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and pumps.
- Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes and company standards.
- Collaborate with general contractors, other trades, and supervisors to coordinate work.
- Adhere to safety procedures and OSHA guidelines on job sites.
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
- Mentor and guide apprentices when applicable.
- Valid Journeyman Plumbing License (state-specific).
- Minimum 45 years of commercial plumbing experience.
- Proficient with commercial piping systems (PVC, copper, cast iron, PEX, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
- Strong understanding of job site safety and compliance.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in varying conditions.

Polk Mechanical Journeyman PlumberWe are currently seeking an experienced and licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our high-performing team. This role is responsible for the installation, modification, and repair of plumbing systems that support critical commercial and healthcare operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Install, assemble, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, and drainage systems.
- Interpret blueprints and accurately lay out plumbing systems for underground rough-in and top-out phases.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing codes and regulations.
- Install DWV (drain, waste, and vent), domestic hot and cold-water piping, and acid waste systems in new construction and remodels.
- Install natural gas and medical gas systems (vacuum, O'2, medical air, and nitrogen) in commercial and healthcare environments.
- Set and install plumbing fixtures with precision.
- Perform soldering, brazing, threading, and Pro Press techniques on various piping materials.
- Test systems by filling with water or air and observing pressure gauges to detect leaks.
- Cut or modify structures to accommodate piping using hand and power tools.
- Install underground storm, sanitary, and water piping systems and extend piping connections as required.
- Minimum of 4 years of commercial plumbing experience.
- Prior experience in HVAC or mechanical industry preferred.
- Current State Plumbing License (or ability to test for Texas licensure immediately).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plumbing codes.
- Skilled in soldering, brazing, threading, and Pro Press applications.
- Industrial plumbing experience a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to safety.

Job DescriptionThe Industrial Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems within an industrial manufacturing environment.
