Rogers Group is seeking candidates to fill a position as an Overnight
Heavy Equipment Operator in Glen Rose, Texas
. The successful candidate will have familiarity and experience operating heavy equipment such as a grader, excavator, and dozer, with a strong focus on safety excellence.

The successful candidate for this role will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment and machinery in a rock quarry including dozer, excavator, front end loader, dredge, haul truck, and general work around the quarry operation.
• Perform daily pre- and post-inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.
• Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.
• Follow all company policies and MSHA / environmental regulations for safe procedures and environment.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Dedication to safe work practices.
• Willingness to perform any task required at the quarry.
• Ability to identify and alert management to maintenance issues with equipment.
• Ability to complete pre-operation inspection paperwork.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends.
• Ability to perform general laborer and cleanup duties on the ground and in the plant as needed/directed.
• Ability to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate loud noises.
