Position: Field Technician I
Location: Dilley

Park Energy Services is seeking a Field Technician I to support natural gas compression equipment across key U.S. basins. In this entry-level, field-based role, you'll assist with installation, startup, inspection, and repair of compression units and related systems for oil and gas customers. You'll troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and document all work. Working in a safety-first culture, you'll receive hands-on training, work alongside experienced technicians, and build technical, safety, and leadership skills while supporting reliable energy production.

Responsibilities

  • Install, start up, and maintain natural gas compression and related field equipment for oil and gas customers
  • Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and mechanical/electrical repairs to ensure safe, reliable operation
  • Document work performed, parts used, and equipment status using company systems and service reports
  • Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and environmental guidelines in remote field locations
  • Collaborate with senior technicians and operations teams to plan service visits and minimize customer downtime
  • Operate company vehicles, tools, and test equipment in compliance with company and regulatory standards
  • Participate in on-call rotation, respond to field service requests, and support emergency outages as needed
  • Support equipment upgrades, retrofits, and commissioning projects under direction of lead technicians
