Lead Pipe Welder​/Assistant Shop Foreman

Role Description

The Lead Pipe Welder/Assistant Shop Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in Coldspring, TX. This position supports our General Manager with daily welding operations and pipe welding tasks to meet project specifications and deadlines.

Responsibilities include executing high-quality welds, inspecting materials and welds for accuracy and safety, and maintaining equipment and tools in proper working order.

The role also supports shop workflow coordination, assists with training and guidance for welding staff, and collaborates with management on production goals, safety procedures, and quality standards. The individual will help ensure the shop environment remains organized, compliant with safety regulations, and aligned with customer requirements.

• Candidates should possess strong Welding skills, with experience in pipe welding and fabrication.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in MIG Welding for a range of materials and pipe sizes.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Materials used in piping applications, including proper handling and preparation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, misc. spool drawings, weld maps, weld specifications, etc.
