Installation & Assembly Technician

Rockdale, TX Pay: $17.00/hour

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

A growing company in the Rockdale area is seeking reliable Installation & Assembly Technicians to assist with installing specialized equipment inside shipping containers that are converted into technology/server-room environments. This is a light industrial position that involves assembly, wiring, and basic installation work. Candidates who enjoy hands on projects and have basic mechanical or technical skills are encouraged to apply.

Job Duties:

• Unpack equipment and organize materials for installation.
• Install equipment into shipping containers using basic hand and power tools.
• Mount units onto racks and assist with basic assembly tasks.
• Perform basic wiring and cable management.
• Assist with installing computer hardware and related components.
• Read and follow work instructions to complete installations accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Support the team with additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Basic experience with assembly, installation, or mechanical work preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware installation, wiring, or electrical work is a plus.
• Comfortable using hand tools and occasional power tools.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 12 lbs regularly.
• Able to work in hot, humid conditions and outdoors when required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
