About the Opportunity

Join our client, a distinguished aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul operation at Garner Field Airport in Uvalde, Texas. We are on the lookout for skilled A&P Technicians eager to contribute to the safety and airworthiness of business aircraft. Responsibilities
  • Perform aircraft maintenance and repairs in compliance with FAA regulations and technical data.
  • Inspect, adjust, and replace aircraft components to ensure optimal performance.
  • Remove and reinstall obstructing components as required.
  • Accurately document all maintenance activities in accordance with OEM manuals.
  • Assist with aircraft fueling and defueling operations.
  • Support avionics troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
  • Repair detached flight-control and airframe components, including:
    • Flaps
    • Ailerons
    • Elevators
    • Rudders
    • Doors
    • Leading edges
  • Work effectively with supervisors and maintenance team members.
Requirements
  • Hold a current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
  • Experience performing business-jet maintenance, preferably on:
    • Cessna Citation
    • Gulfstream
    • Learjet 45
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply aircraft maintenance manuals and engineering documents.
  • Experience with aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, adjustments, component replacement, and repairs.
  • Ability to properly document maintenance activities in compliance with FAA requirements.
  • Preferred: 5 years of experience working with aircraft electrical or mechanical systems.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
