Field Service Technician - LV/MV Switchgear, ATS, UPS, PLCs
- Perform on-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, including transformers, circuit breakers, LV/MV switch gear, and PLC controls.
- Conduct system diagnostics and address technical issues to ensure minimal downtime and efficient system operation.
- Support system startups and commissioning, ensuring systems are operational and meet customer specifications.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications such as NFPA 70E, OSHA 30, or other relevant technical certifications are a plus.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a field service technician, with a focus on power systems, electrical equipment, or industrial controls.
- Experience with basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, transformers, and circuit breakers.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with field service management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers.
- Ability to work independently and manage service priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with electrical systems at low and medium voltage levels.
- Basic experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and protective relay systems is a plus.
