Full‑time. Travel required up to 25% of the time.

• Develops and presents education programming for Soldiers, civilians, and the general public under the supervision of the Education Staff.
• Assists researchers and answers inquiries about objects in the collection based on personal knowledge and research.
• Works with appropriate conservation staff to ensure historical materials are maintained.
• Assists with the development of Army‑approved social media platforms.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination based on a completed background investigation.
• Must possess a valid civilian driver's license.
• Irregular duty hours, including holidays and weekends, may be required.
• Employee must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Work requires physical effort, with frequent standing, stooping, reaching, and walking.
• Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Pre‑employment and annual physical required.

  Experience:
  
  One year of experience developing museum education programming for the public and military; inventorying educational property and props; participating in docent training; and maintaining facility social media platforms.
• Combination of
  
  Education and Experience:
  
  Eligibility for qualification may also be based on a combination of education and experience. Compute the percentage of the requirements: divide total months of experience by 12 and divide total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages. The calculated percentage must be at least 100%.

  If using foreign education, credentials must be evaluated by a private organization specializing in foreign education equivalency or credited as equivalent to a U.S. accredited program.
• Additional Requirements: Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must complete a pre‑employment certification statement for selective service registration. Proof of U.S. citizenship required. One-year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
• Position is a non‑sensitive (NS)/low‑risk position. Background check type: suitability/fitness.
