Make a difference where it matters most. The Program Director for the Pregnant Parenting Intervention (PPI) program leads services that support pregnant and parenting individuals, and their families, impacted by substance use disorders. This role oversees program operations and staff, strengthens community partnerships, and ensures access to comprehensive case management, prenatal and behavioral health care, substance use services, education, and essential community resources.

Through collaboration, advocacy, and data-driven program leadership, the position helps reduce barriers to care and improve outcomes for mothers, children, and families.

Job Description
  • Direct program operations, service delivery, and staff supervision while maintaining a small caseload of PPI participants to provide direct case management and support.
  • Oversee comprehensive case management, community-based visits, referrals, and coordination of prenatal, behavioral health, substance use, and social services to support participants and families.
  • Coordinate evidence-informed education and interventions, including overdose prevention, tobacco cessation, substance use, prenatal health, parenting, and family wellness.
  • Establish and maintain community partnerships and MOUs with healthcare, behavioral health, social service, and community organizations to strengthen participant referrals, resources, transportation, and family support.
  • Monitor program performance, documentation, outcomes, and quality improvement efforts; participate in required System Agency meetings and conference calls and communicate program needs and progress to leadership.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Sociology or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in social services, networking with social service agencies, conducting community outreach, and/or working with at risk populations in the community or schools.
  • Current Texas driver's license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance are required.
  • Travel within the service area is required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Pay: $35,000 annually
