The organization seeks a senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to build high-quality software for payroll deductions, elections, and HR/payroll integrations. You will design, develop, and operationalize API-driven solutions and data integrations that enable clients and partners to connect with services. You will collaborate with product, architecture, and business stakeholders to align with strategic roadmaps while delivering resilient, scalable capabilities.

Rate: $55.00 to $60.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities- Design, code, and unit test Java-based applications and APIs for payroll and HR integrations.
- Develop and maintain industry-leading engineering solutions supporting Employer Servicing and Integration squads.
- Drive complex technology solutions across multiple squads to meet business goals.
- Ensure clarity in requirements, architecture, and design by coordinating with a broad stakeholder group.
- Implement metadata-driven, end-to-end configurable systems to support rapid market entry.
- Build and optimize relational database components, including PL/SQL stored procedures and ETL workflows.
- Leverage public cloud platforms to deploy and operate solutions.
- Collaborate with external payroll vendors to deliver 360-degree data integrations via APIs and files.
- Share knowledge within and across squads to align delivery with roadmaps and guardrails.
- Communicate designs and solutions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- 7+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Expertise in object-oriented programming with Java.
- Proven experience implementing API-based solutions using Java Spring Boot.
- Expert knowledge of relational database design and data modeling.
- Hands-on Oracle database development with PL/SQL and ETL tools.
- Experience designing metadata-driven, highly configurable systems.
- Hands-on expertise with public cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills within matrixed organizations.
- Comfort presenting and explaining ideas and solutions to stakeholders.
- Understanding of workplace services product offerings and integration techniques across record keepers (preferred).
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Azure certification (preferred).
- AWS certification (preferred).
