We are currently seeking a Sr Java Developer to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).

• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements
• Develop, test and deploy APIs
• Write tested, idiomatic, and documented Java code
• Collaborate with the front-end developer in the process of integrating the RESTful API
• Communicate with external web services
• Produce, maintain, and modify REST APIs
• Ensure APIs are developed using industry standard best practices
• Fix issues or bugs that arise

• 10+ years of Software Engineering experience with web application development
• 10+ years of Java development experience
• 5+ years of Java Micro Services experience
• 8+ years of Spring/Spring Boot experience
• 5+ years of experience developing and using RESTful APIs
• 3-5 years experience in banking domain
• 2+ years of cloud computing experience (PCF/Azure/AWS)
• 4+ years of MQ Series or Kafka Messaging experience
• 4+ years of relational database management system (RDBMS) experience
• 2+ years of experience with in-memory databases such as Redis, Mongo
  
  DB, or Cassandra
• 3+ years of experience with BDD development
• 1+ year of Splunk log monitoring or client tools like New Relic, Splunk, App Dynamics, Elastic Stack

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $66.66/hour. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
