Job Summary

Client is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the Digital Platforms Technology team in Westlake, TX. This role requires a balanced skill set across back-end and front-end development (ideally 60/40 or 50/50 split), with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular, AWS, and API development. The engineer will play a key role on a Scrum team, collaborating with cross-functional partners to design, build, test, and deliver features that power Client digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Angular (v16+).

Design and implement APIs and microservices architecture (Java, REST, Graph

QL, NodeJS, Swagger).

Collaborate with Squad Leads, Scrum Masters, Analysts, QA, Architects, and Developers to deliver digital platform features.

Apply Dev Ops practices for CI/CD pipelines, source code management (Git/Git Hub), and automated deployments.

Utilize AWS services (S3, EC2, Lambda, Cloud Formation Templates) for cloud-based application development.

Strengthen code quality through reviews, unit testing (Jest, Jasmine, Karma), integration testing, and coverage tools (Sonar).

Contribute to end-to-end Agile lifecycle management using Jira, Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy, and related tools.

Ensure accessibility compliance and alignment with ADA standards.

Support troubleshooting, performance analysis, and optimization of distributed systems.

Prepare and deliver executive-ready documentation, dashboards, and reports.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

6+ years of client-side development experience (Angular, JavaScript/Type Script, Node, HTML/CSS, RxJS).

4+ years of server-side development experience (Java, Spring Boot, Camel, JMS, Apache Kafka, JPA/Hibernate).

Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud deployment.

Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Artifactory) and Dev Ops practices.

Proven experience with API design, microservices, and secure coding practices.

Familiarity with Agile software development methodology.

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous envi ronments.

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

Ex x perience with Docker containerization and AWS cloud deployment.

AWS certifications.

Familiarity with accessibility standards (W3C WCAG).

Experience in financial services applications.

Background in Design Ops or Developer Experien ce (Dev Ex).
