Local CDL Driver - Wylie

Location: Wylie

Job Duties Include (but not limited to):

* Local Texas Runs

* Load, secure and protect product on delivery truck and safely transport to destination

* Load and unload product on truck for delivery from Distribution center

* Pick-up product from customer and other Avanti locations

* Routinely inspect truck and trailer for safety

* Ability to use a forklift (training on site)

* Any other duties as assigned by manager

Employee Requirements:

* Ability to meet all requirements set forth by FMCSR 391.11

* Have current satisfactory MVR (driving record), valid CDL and DOT physical (can be completed once hired)

* Ability to use the ELD device per FMCSA for logging hours of service-of-service and records of duty

* Ability to embrace, improve, and more importantly enjoy the opportunity to grow with a rapidly growing company

* Ability to communicate professionally with team members and trades on and off job site and always maintain professional appearance

* Punctual and reliable

* Ability to work 10+ hours a day

* Ability to use proper PPE when handling windows/patio doors

* Ability to lift to 50lbs multiple times per day with occasional lifts more than 75lbs

* Ability to push/pull rolling product and part carts more than 500lbs

* Ability to carry/lift to 175lbs (team lift) for windows and patio doors for delivery

* If approved, driving a company vehicle must meet all Avanti company vehicle and driving requirements
