- Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment at a recycling center, landfill or transfer station;
Perform pre- and post-operation inspections and ensure windows, lights, mirrors and rear view camera are clean;
Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste in materials and monitor equipment condition to minimize downtime;
Perform and document minor service on equipment and refer more complex issues to Maintenance Shop;
Complete Equipment Condition Report and other reports; report repairs to supervisor; maintain shop cleanliness at end of shift
