VDC Rail Unloader

AMPORTS Inc. is seeking candidates to unload vehicles off rail cars at our Wylie, TX location.

• Remove rail chalks from tires.
• Drive vehicles off rail cars.
• Drive vehicles to specific locations.
• Lifting and laying bridge plates.
• Working in very tight spaces between rail cars and vehicles climbing up/down and in/out of rail cars.

• High School Diploma or General Education degree (GED).
• Ability to operate a vehicle.
• Safety conscious person.
• Ability to climb and do heavy lifting.
• Ability to follow strict damage prevention procedures.

• Three (3) month related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Heavy physical activity performing strenuous day activities of a primarily production/technical nature. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, working with the fingers, and perceiving attributes of objects and materials.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily 8 hours each day, five days a week. This position often requires overtime.

Must be able to obtain eRailSafe certification.
