Responsibilities
- Responsible and accountable safe for flawless service delivery through timely and successful crew change arrangements.
- Plans crew changes in advance to meet operational and budgetary requirements.
- Ensures the right standards, techniques, and procedures in performing crew change plans.
- Comply with the agreed ways of working aligned with the V. way.
- Perform adhoc, emergency crew change arrangements on urgent and emergency cases.
- Create/manage crew change line‑up in Ship Sure in line with standards of V., its clients and of international regulations.
- Execute final checks to ascertain that joining seafarers are in possession of the right qualifications and competence by ensuring they are on ready status prior to planning seafarers for crew changes or travelling to join the vessel.
- Coordinates crew joining and disembarking arrangements between internal and external stakeholders such as but not limited to port agents, vessel masters, fleet cells and CMPs to plan and finalise crew change dates, port, line‑up, and cost.
- Provides CMPs with complete and up-to-date information required to facilitate discussions with clients, charterers, and fleet cells.
- Manages multiple stakeholders and cooperates closely with the team members from other teams within the function.
- Provide effective cost controlling of crew change cost aligned to vessel crewing budgets.
- Ensures all required documents are digitally captured in Ship Sure on time.
- Diligently uses Ship Sure as “system of record” for all mobilization activities.
- Provides feedback on further development opportunities for Ship Sure and other relevant crew change processes.
- Drive and deliver on set objectives and KPI’s of the team.
- Acts as a backup for other team members according to agreed schedule.
- Other tasks that may be assigned by the line manager as needed by operations.
- Must possess a Bachelor’s/College Degree from any field with relevant experience.
- Knowledge of terminal operation, vessel characteristics, and crewing logistics.
- A self-starter and has a strong learning acuity.

- 2 years Maritime or Shipping industry experience knowledge as supplier, manager or owner, preferred.
- Previous experience with Customer Service and Service Deliveries.
- Knowledge of Marine Operations Support and Maritime Services.
- Experience in port operation planning, cargo controlling or dispatching or shipping line and logistics company.
