Trash Gremlin Disposal is looking for a hardworking and dependable Residential Trash Helper to join our crew in San Antonio, TX! This is a hands-on, active role where you'll play a vital part in keeping our communities clean and running smoothly. If you love working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a tight-knit team, this could be the perfect fit for you!
Responsibilities:- Assist with residential trash and waste collection along assigned routes
- Lift, carry, and empty trash receptacles into collection vehicles safely and efficiently
- Ride along on collection truck and assist driver with route completion
- Follow all safety protocols and proper waste handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work vehicle and equipment
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure route efficiency
- Adhere to scheduled pickup times and residential service standards
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (50+ lbs) and physical labor in all weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to showing up on time every shift
- Strong work ethic with a positive, team-player attitude
- Previous waste collection, labor, or outdoor work experience is a plus
- Ability to work early morning hours and varied schedules
- Must be able to walk, run, and remain on foot for extended periods
- Valid ability to pass a background check required
