This position serves and supports all things involving loading and unloading trucks plus packaging screws & accessories. Our goal is to load & unload all who pull in our yard in a timely manner so they can get back to their jobs. The yard is a high traffic area and this person will keep things flowing smoothly. Starting pay $15/hr hours are 7:30-4:30 unless otherwise needed/communicated.
Responsibilities- Safe & accurate loading of trucks according to paperwork
- Using fork lift and crane as necessary
- Loading customers according to paperwork & procedures
- Greeting everyone with respect and a smile
- Unloading vendor trucks according to paperwork & properly staging material
- Packaging screws/accessories
- Accurately identify different materials & know where they go
- Keep yard and screw room cleaned up
- Assist Drivers with maintenance on trucks
- Self-motivated
- Naturally takes initiative
- Able to understand our process and direct traffic accordingly
- Problem solver
- Team Player
- Energetic - urgency to get things done
- Communicates well with different types of people
- Willingness to help out as needed & be flexible
- Able to handle a variety of things going on at once & stay on track mentally
