Outdoor Yard Worker

** _Essential Functions_*

* Key Responsibilities:

* + Manage and track yard inventory using mobile devices or handheld scanners

+ Transport unloading crew members throughout the facility using company vehicles

+ Remove securement devices (wheel chocks) from vehicles staged on multilevel autorack railcars

+ Open and secure multilevel railcar doors and apply hand brakes as needed

+ Place and position bridge plates (approximately 40 lbs) across rail junctions to ensure safe access

+ Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when working on and around railcars

* * exposed to changing and/or extreme weather conditions (for instance, rain, sun, snow, wind, humidity, etc.)

** _Physical Demands_*
* Physical activity. No climate control.

** _Position Type/Expected Hours of Work_*
* Open to work from 6am-8pm and weekends
