OVERVIEW
The Shipping & Receiving Helper is an entry-level position that assists with basic warehouse tasks. This role helps with loading, unloading, and organizing shipments while learning shipping and receiving processes on the job.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Help load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
- Assist with checking packages against packing slips or labels
- Pack items for shipment and place labels on boxes
- Move materials to storage areas using carts or hand trucks
- Help keep the work area clean and organized
- Report any damaged or missing items to a supervisor
- Assist team members with daily warehouse tasks as needed
- Follow safety guidelines and instructions
- No prior experience required (training provided)
- Ability to follow directions and work with a team
- Willingness to learn new tasks
- Basic attention to detail
- Reliable and on time
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items as needed.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
