Warehouse Worker - Forklift Operator - 1st Shift

• Flexible work schedule:
  Sun‑Weds 4 AM‑2:30 PM (or until all work is complete);
  Weds‑Sat 4 AM‑2:30 PM (or until all work is complete)

• Accurately match numbers and letters.
• Accurately stage and sort products for loading.
• Load and unload trailers.
• Sort and place parts in racks or other designated areas.
• Move materials within the warehouse.
• Package or kit finished products for shipping (shrink‑wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
• Pack containers and re‑pack damaged containers.
• Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to production workers or assembly line.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or convey orders to the packing station or shipping department.
• Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to transport stored items from the warehouse to the plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment (where applicable).
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

• No prior warehouse experience required (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to work independently and in a customer‑service environment; multi‑tasking, organizational, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management.
• Flexible to work overtime (preferred).
• Ability to work in non‑climate‑controlled conditions.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Willingness to work the required schedule at the specified location.
• Complete Penske employment application, background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and drug screening.

• Must remember and understand instructions, guidelines, or other information.
• Must see and verbally communicate; vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Must move frequently, stand, walk, and sit as required.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs (45 kg).
• Must be able to use hands to touch, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms.
