Brief DescriptionThe Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of products and materials for Feed & Biofuel operations. This role manages the warehouse team, drives operational efficiency, maintains inventory accuracy, and ensures compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and develop the warehouse team to meet customer delivery and warehousing requirements.
- Plan and prioritize daily work schedules based on shipment and production plans.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, handling, and shipping of finished and purchased products.
- Ensure accurate inventory control, including daily checks, cycle counts, and spot inventories.
- Maintain storage location files and inventory records using ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Identify and report slow-moving or obsolete products; arrange for removal as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, lead safety meetings, and promote a safe work environment.
- Resolve warehouse-related customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Production, Planning, and Sales teams to optimize material flow and minimize handling.
- Support plant-wide improvement projects and operational excellence initiatives.
- Manage and resolve vendor-related receipt discrepancies and transactional issues.
- Perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by management guidelines.
- Act as a key SAP user to support accurate storage, movement, and distribution of materials.

- High School or GED diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehouse or logistics operations, including team leadership.
- Experience managing a warehouse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of an organization.
- Proven ability to implement process improvements and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to resolve operational issues independently.
- Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Experience in the separation industry.
- International logistics and vendor management experience.
- Understanding of company product codes and terminology.
- Tact and human relations skills in dealing with supervisors, planning department, and sales personnel.
- Work is primarily performed in an office setting, with regular visits to production and logistics areas.
- Exposure to dust, fumes, high heat/cold, and noisy conditions during warehouse and vendor site visits.
- Requires standing, walking, climbing stairs, kneeling, stooping, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and reaching.
