Yard & Dock Coordinator

GXO Logistics is seeking a Yard & Dock Coordinator to support high-volume Transportation & Warehousing operations. In this role, you will manage trailer movements, dock assignments and yard activity to keep freight flowing safely and on time. Using yard and warehouse management systems, you'll track inbound and outbound loads, schedule doors and communicate with drivers, carriers and warehouse teams. You'll help enforce safety standards, maintain accurate records and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced, performance-driven and collaborative environment with clear growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate trailer movements in the yard and at docks to support inbound and outbound schedules
• Use yard management and warehouse systems to track trailers, loads and door assignments in real time
• Communicate with drivers, carriers and warehouse teams to ensure on-time loading and unloading
• Monitor safety, ensure dock and yard procedures are followed, and report hazards or incidents
• Maintain accurate logs, reports and system records on trailer status, appointments and exceptions
• Support continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks and suggesting process enhancements
